The world is waking up to the importance of mental wellbeing and that’s so very important - especially for our young ones, who are struggling in unprecedented numbers. Referrals for mental health support have rocketed, their mental distress is impacting their ability to learn well and research informs us that psychological struggle in younger years correlates directly with vulnerability to mental illness in adult life. But how do we actually care for this crucial aspect of their being and, perhaps more importantly, can we teach our young ones to understand and nurture their mental wellbeing for themselves?

For nearly 40 years as a mental health specialist, I have focused on finding the most effective keys for creating meaningful and lasting inner wellbeing. A culmination of my life’s work, I am delighted now to offer The Inner SNACK - my empowering, unique educational programme with proven results in creating relief, understanding and transformation of life …

My training is geared ideally towards the classroom setting (to maximise benefit) but it is equally valuable for young people to use as a fascinating resource on their own (or with their parents). Although many more people are now talking about mental health, the process of HOW to nurture this central aspect of living is poorly understood. This training will give you those crucial missing pieces, to help you care for your mental wellbeing in highly effective and straightforward ways.

With clear explanations, I’ll teach you (and your students) the most important neuroscientific findings – facts about how your brain works – which paves the way for increasing your understanding and easing your control of your ‘inner world’. Using visual aids, I’ll teach you a new, simple and yet profoundly effective way of putting all that busy head stuff 'out there'… and then looking at it, and nurturing it, in a new and lasting way.

I’ll also describe little ‘treasures’ that I’ve discovered over all these decades of helping hundreds of adults and young people - ‘sign posts’ to help you move towards your goals with heightened optimism and greater happiness, as you gain insight and ease in becoming your own true friend.
